BUILD HIS CHURCH

In Matthew 16, Jesus tells us He will build HIS Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. This word still holds true some two millennia later. In this collection of talks, we will unpack what it means for us, as believers, to rely on Jesus’ promise to build HIS Church and what this means for us as His Church in this world!

In Week 7 of Build His Church, Pastor Rodney focuses on Revelation 1-3, emphasizing Jesus' call for enduring faith despite challenges. Highlighting God's authority, sacrificial mission, and imminent return, he urges repentance, faithfulness, and the responsibility to spread the Gospel. Listen and be challenged.

In week six of “Build His Church”, Pastor Matt Nelson from City Church Tulsa challenges us with a convicting message from Romans 14: In a radically divided time, we need a radically united church. We need the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the center to unify a diverse people. He urges us to allow our identity in Christ to surpass all other identities and to use love as the key to overcoming personal opinions, preferences, and freedoms for the sake of others. Listen and be challenged.

Week 5 of Build His Church welcomes Stephen Kuert from Involved International as he preaches from John 15. He shows us that those committed to the mission, anticipating transformation, and bearing lasting fruit, are Jesus' chosen friends. Despite excuses or perceived limitations, Jesus still calls individuals to participate in building His church. Listen and be challenged.

This week, Pastor Rodney addresses the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, providing a historical foundation and using scripture to emphasize the importance of grace and truth. He encourages readiness for the Second Coming of Jesus, stressing the importance of love over violence and the responsibility for us, as Christians, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Listen and be challenged.

In week 3 of "Build His Church", Pastor Rodney preaches about our responsibility as believers and emphasizes our duty in building God's Church. Preaching from the book of John, when Jesus walked on water, he highlights the importance of obeying God even when we don't fully understand. We are encouraged to seek Jesus for the right reasons, step out of our comfort zones for Him, and have mature faith that trusts God despite obstacles. Listen and be challenged.

In week 2 of "Build His Church", Pastor Rodney breaks down what it means to follow Jesus and be a part of a loving, vibrant faith community. He preaches about a church that loves like God, is always ready to celebrate, gives generously, helps those in need, and actively connects with the world. Listen and be challenged.

In Week 1 of our new collection of talks entitled, "Build His Church", Pastor Christian Vélez emphasizes God's command to love one another, not as a mere suggestion, but an essential obligation. The Great Commission is a responsibility for all Christians to share the Gospel and his sermon challenges the convenience of our modern lives, as we're urged to love our neighbors and consider their needs as we do our own. We see through this message that genuine love is demonstrated through actions, not just words. Listen and be challenged.
