UPSIDE DOWN KINGDOM

The way of Christ is counter-cultural. It was through seemingly being defeated by earthly powers that he conquered evil and death to set up his eternal kingdom. It is an upside-down kingdom where servants are leaders, weakness is power, enemies are loved, the poor are rich and suffering leads to glory.

Week 4 of our series "Upside Down Kingdom" welcomes special guest Bishop Gibson Anduvate, the Lead Pastor of International Christian Center of Nairobi, Kenya.

In his message, Bishop Gibson discusses the importance of God's promise and how God habitually uses the most unlikely people for His glory. He encourages us to have a posture of obedience to fulfill our destinies. God has a purpose for everyone's life and the best days of life and ministry are not behind, but ahead.

In week three of our series, "Upside Down Kingdom", Pastor Rodney discusses the story of the Israelites' journey to the Promised Land and how a whole generation failed to reach it because they were conquered by "IT." "IT" is anything that keeps us from the freedom God has for us. The Israelites were conquered by their thoughts, insecurities, and desire to be safe and comfortable.

Pastor encourages us not to allow our past, present feelings, disappointments, or accomplishments determine our identity and to seek God's will, even if it means facing our fears. Listen and be challenged.

The struggle at times will be great, but your Source is greater than any struggle. You may feel desperate, but you are not in despair because you have God's word as your defense!

In week 2 of the series, Upside Down Kingdom, Pastor Rodney preaches from the 119th chapter of Psalms where we find a great example of why we should take our complaints to God, go to Him for comfort and continually obey His commands. As you listen, consider how you can make this message practical in your life.

Pastor Rodney opens up our new series, "Upside Down Kingdom" with a powerful message from Ecclesiastes 1 where the Teacher opens with a conclusion about life: “Everything is hevel, completely hevel!” What is "hevel" and are you going to trust God when life is hevel? Listen to learn and be challenged.
