VERIFIED

Our actions reveal a lot about our faith in God. They either show others that our life isn’t alive in Christ, or a transformed life by that resurrection power of Jesus. How we live shows what we believe.

Week 4 of our series, "Verified", is all about praying effective prayers. Three powerhouse speakers, Christian Vélez, Farah Stout and Heady Coleman, all preached from James 5 and show us how we should pray together with other believers, pray bold prayers, and pray back those who have strayed away from God. As you listen, consider what positive changes you should make in your prayer life.

In Week 3 of the sermon series, "Verified", Pastor Rodney preaches from the first chapter of James where he discusses the transformative power of living as a devoted slave of Jesus. He emphasizes the need for practical actions to accompany our faith, urging us to view trials as opportunities for growth and endurance. As a slave of Christ, there is freedom and purpose found in surrendering our lives to Him. Listen and be challenged.

Today, Pastor Rodney sat down with Gary Nelson for a special Father's Day interview where he discussed the value of a mentor or someone believing in you, encouraging you in growth and confidence in the Lord. Encouraging men to stay true to biblical principles in life and not be pressured by the culture of today, he also reminded us to listen to the Holy Spirit and what He is speaking into our lives.

In week one of our new sermon series entitled, "Verified", Pastor Rodney explores the theme of anxious thoughts and how they affect our lives. Drawing from Psalm 139, we learn that God knows and understands our innermost thoughts and desires. We are encouraged to examine our thoughts, intentions, and the things we allow into our lives.

Highlighting the importance of intentional living, seeking healthy relationships, embracing intimacy with God, and finding our identity in Jesus Christ, Pastor Rodney encourages us to trust in God's love, seek His guidance, and live wholeheartedly in His presence. Listen and be challenged.
