DEUTERONOMY

The book of Deuteronomy emphasizes the importance of God’s Word for everyone, for every day and for every situation. It is our daily bread and is essential for living. Through the Scriptures, we get directions for life and it is our responsibility to obey them. A simple obedience to these commands will bring the blessings of God into our lives.

We conclude our Deuteronomy series with a very special guest, Blaine Bartel. No stranger to North Church, Blaine sits down with Pastor Rodney and shares his powerful testimony of the restorative and resurrecting power of Christ in his life. Blaine reminds us that even in disobedience, we are never too far for the grace of God to save us.

As we continue our series over the book of Deuteronomy, Pastor Rodney preaches from chapter 28. We see that the Israelites had to have their identity in God reestablisned, had to grasp their responsibility for God’s purpose, and had to believe that the promised reward would come.

We are continuing our Deuteronomy series with a special message from Pastor Shannon. She preaches from Deuteronomy 6 and teaches us to love God, and God alone, with our all. We see the value of committing wholeheartedly to His commands.

Kicking off our Deuteronomy series, Pastor Rodney speaks on Deuteronomy 1. He challenges us to drop our unbelief, and teaches us the importance of having unwavering faith in God.
