Pastor Rodney and Shannon Fouts dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal: helping people love God, love people, and follow Jesus. North Church began in the spring of 2002 with three people in the Fouts' living room.
From the beginning, North Church focused on reaching out to the non-churched by building relationships. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of experiences, and the simple style of North brought immediate growth. In its first year, the church grew to 125 people in weekly attendance and 55 people committed their lives to Christ.
Today, thousands of people attend our weekend experiences and groups all over the metro and Guthrie. God is doing something special. We invite you to see for yourself, how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion!
Pastor Rodney and Shannon have three children; Gavin (Married to Haley with grandchildren Gideon, Shepherd, Eleanor, and Annie Joy), Phaedra (Married to Mitch Day with granddaughter Skylar) and Annabeth.
