THE HELPER

Are you overwhelmed and feel like life has given you more than you can handle? Jesus, God’s Son, didn’t just live among us, die for us, and rise victorious over death just to go back home to his Dad leaving us helpless. No. Christ promised us the Holy Spirit to be with us, living in us permanently, as our Helper.

For our new sermon series, The Helper, we are learning life changing lessons from the book of Romans. In this first week, Pastor Rodney points out how much we all need the help of Holy Spirit. Pastor teaches us about the power of Holy Spirit to help save, sanctify, and produce fruit in us.

For the third week of our series, The Helper, Pastor Rodney teaches from Romans 8. We learn what it means to be filled with the Spirit, and how that changes our lives. Pastor encourages us to live with eternity in mind and to remember that God loves us and is for us.

Pastor Rodney continues our series, The Helper, and teaches us more about Holy Spirit. He tells us that we have the option to choose to be obligated not to our flesh, but to the Spirit. He teaches us how to live under the ownership of Holy Spirit. Lastly, Pastor explains how we can receive Holy Spirit by being aware, receptive, and yielding.
